JUDGEMENT DELIVERED BY PAUL ADAMU GALINJE, JCA
The Appellant herein and three other persons were arraigned before the High Court of Kwara State charged with te offence of conspiracy to commut armed robbery and rape, robbery and rape under section 97 of the Penal Code, Section 1(2) of the Robbery and Firearms (Special Provisions) Act 2004 and Section 283 of the Penal Code respectively. The Appellant pleaded not guilty to the charges. The prosecution called nine witnesses in proof of its case. The Appellant testified in person and called no further witness.
